Open road unknown

I've updated my bio and changed the description on this blog. Here is the original description, just wanted to have it here somewhere since it's the starting point for the blog anyway ...

I started this blog at a time of uncertainty in my life. My husbands life was hanging in the balance and I needed somewhere to put a productive thought as opposed to the rants in my journal. Inspired by the Switchfoot song "Love Alone is Worth the Fight", I titled this blog after a poignant line in the song ... "so we're headed down the open road..." I only got off one post before he departed for the heavens, so the blog has become more about my journey and the open road beyond. I write in case there's someone out there who needs to hear the raw honesty of a grieving heart that is still trusting in the Creator and Author of what seems an uncanny story.
